Rotary Cutter — One of the most essential of the quilting tools and supplies! The most important thing is that it has a sharp blade.

The Right Sewing Machine Foot — such as
- The walking foot, that would feed from the bottom and from the top, so that the layers of the quilt sandwich move together separately and you don’t get puckers.
- The free motion foot.
- The appliqué foot.
- The quarter inch foot — indispensable for quilters!

Straight stitch plate that you may get on your sewing machine when you purchase it.

Needle for the sewing machine — Recommended 90/14 topstitch needles — you can use them for piecing and for quilting. It is recommended to change the needle every 8 or 10 hours of use.

Acrylic Rulers — Good options are: A strip ruler (6 inches or 6 and a half inches) The hand fits on it and is maneuverable without a lot of slippage. A square ruler (9 and a half inch per side), maneuverable without a lot of slippage and fits on your purse.
